We are leaving for the field tomorrow. Weapons were assigned last week. I was assigned the M249 SAW, one of the big guns. We are completing the final preps tonight. August is the hottest month down here, so we are so excited.

BIG gun! You go girl. I hope you're enjoying yourself just little. Sounds like your right back in the nasty heat of FLW! Good luck!!!
I'm currently attending BOLC II, Basic Officer Leadership Course 2 in Ft. Sill, OK. I was commissioned from US Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia on September 11th, branching Military Police. I was a US Army MP stationed in Heidelberg, Germany for 4.5 years. While there I was assigned to USAREUR Protective Services Division as a Protective Services Agent (aka bodyguard). I left the military once my originial contract expired, became bored to the monotony of civilian life, and decided to re-join the military.
I won't give away clues as to how the course actually is, but I'll write about stories of my experiences and what makes me laugh. So here I am, and here's the story of my experience at BOLC II.
